ArtCity come?

Colosseo, Foro Romano e Palatino

Skip the long queue for the ticket line and go straight to the fast track entrance for security checks. After entering the Colosseum at your allotted time, relive the stories of emperors and gladiators. Begun under the emperor Vespasian in 72 AD, and completed by his son Titus in 80 AD, the Colosseum was the largest amphitheater ever built.

Imagine the ferocious fights between man and beast, as you stand in the elliptical arena, comprised of 4 levels, and once able to seat up to 73,000 spectators.

Your ticket also includes one entry to the Palatine Hill, a must-see sight for all those visiting the “Eternal City.” According to ancient tradition, this is the spot where Rome was born. Look down at the ruins of temples in the Imperial Forum, center of all political, social, and economic life in the city during the Roman Republic.

Experience the most ancient parts of Rome from the most significant of its “Seven Hills.”

Vaticano, Cappella Sistina e San Pietro

Get more time to immerse yourself in the Vatican’s awe-inspiring art with no-wait access to the museums and basilica.
With a group of 20 people or fewer, your expert guide will bring the art and history to life in the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and more.
Avoid the long public line and go straight to the front of the Vatican Museums. Learn about the history and people behind the art in the Pinecone Courtyard, the Hall of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, and the Gallery of Candelabra. A headset ensures you can hear the guide clearly.
Next, visit and hear the story of the magnificent Sistine Chapel. See if you can spot Michelangelo’s self-portrait, which hints that he would rather be skinned alive than paint in the Sistine Chapel again. (After you learn what it took to create a fresco, you’ll understand why.)
Then, use another exclusive entrance to head straight into St. Peter’s Basilica. See the incredible altar and Michelangelo’s beautiful sculpture, “La Pietà.”
The tour ends in St. Peter’s Square. Admire Bernini’s clever optical illusion, spot the balcony where the Pope delivers his public addresses, and take photos of the imposing exterior of the basilica.

Sebastiano) is included as well.
Continuing with your ride on the Appian Way, you will stop for a tasty aperitif before following the ancient aqueducts through the Roman countryside, where you might feel like you are in the wild side of Rome centuries ago. After a pleasant ride back, your tour ends with return journey to central Rome.

Lezione di cucina e cena

There’s nothing quite like a home-cooked Italian meal, especially when it has been prepared with the help of a professional chef and when you get to enjoy it on the terrace of a beautiful Roman apartment.
This is an experience that’s typically reserved for the real Romans, but now you can experience it too on this 3.5-hour activity.
You’ll meet the chef at a stunning loft apartment in central Rome, and you’ll be greeted with Prosecco and snacks, the perfect aperitivo to get the class started. Enjoy the views from the terrace (weather permitting) as you get to know the other participants.
Soon it will be time to learn how to make pasta from scratch. If you want to make authentic Italian food at home, this is the number 1 skill to learn. The chef will guide you and the members of your small group through the hands-on process. Feel free to ask about anything related to food or Rome! This is your chance to learn how to cook and eat like a local.
Finally it will be time to eat. Enjoy your home-cooked pasta, along with some fine Italian wine, out on the terrace. By the end, you won't be leaving with just a pleasant memory, but also with the know-how for making an authentic Italian dish to impress friends and family back home!

Tour di mercato + lezione di cucina

Start with a tour at Mercato Esquilino. You are going to purchase fresh ingredients and taste products from vendors, including cheese, prosciutto, and pizza.
After shopping you will go to the cooking school - the only facility in Rome set up to give cooking classes for tourists. Enjoy a private class with this menu: Ravioli, Tagliolini cacio e pepe, and tiramisu. This is the perfect experience for families or couples.
The culinary school was created with the purpose of helping people make their own italian meal individually and get really hands on. So there will be small groups with individual work stations with cooktops - your station, your food. Eat what you make not what you watch.

Tour del cibo di strada

Meet at the historic Campo de' Fiori and meet some of the producers with shops in the square. Sample local produce, including some tasty prosciutto, delicious cheeses, truffle tartines, seasonal fruit and other fresh goods. Wash it down with some of the region's celebrated wines.
Then, continue in your small group to the Jewish Ghetto and the site of the ancient Theatre of Pompey. Visit several Roman ruins and historic buildings, including the Great Synagogue of Rome. Sample one of the best pizzas in the city, along with delicacies such as zucchini flowers and suppli (a rice ball typically prepared with tomatoes and mozzarella sauce).
End at the spot where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Taste one of Rome's best gelatos at a family-run ice cream parlor. Listen as the owner explains how the ice cream is made, and hear some of the history of his business. Ask nicely, and he may even reveal some of the secrets behind his recipes!
Get expert tips from your knowledgeable guide, who will be happy to provide advice and suggestions for additional things to see and do.

Cripte e Catacombe

Beneath the sun-baked streets of Rome lie cool, shadowed spaces that hide layer upon layer of history. Beat the heat with air-conditioned travel and Skip-the-Line access directly down into three different, but equally fascinating archaeological finds.
First, you’ll visit the hallowed catacombs where, beneath their persecutors’ feet, early Christians practiced their forbidden faith. Almost 2,000 years ago, this network of secret tunnels doubled as a place of worship and burial ground. As you explore tombs carved out of solid rock, your guide – a local, expert English-speaker – will relate the fascinating history of this sacred spot.
From here, the coach will whisk you within sight of the Colosseum, to the Basilica of San Clemente. To descend below this structure is to move backwards through time. You’ll travel through the remains of 12th and 4th century basilicas, a 2nd century cult temple and ruins dating as far back as AD 64, when Emperor Nero watched the city burn. Incredibly, the ruins include an aqueduct that still works, after lying buried for centuries.
Your final destination is the Capuchin Crypt. Capuchin monks used the bones of nearly 4,000 of their brothers to decorate this sombre space in intricate floor-to-ceiling designs, lending it the macabre nickname of "the Bone Chapel". Your guide will tell you the theories, but it’s up to you to draw your own conclusions about the meaning of the crypt’s robed skeletons and vertebrae chandeliers.
Open your eyes to the city’s hidden side – and you’ll never see Rome the same way again.

Impara a fare la pizza

Make your way to the restaurant located in central Rome where you’ll meet your small group of aspiring pizza chefs and your local guide. Here, you’ll spend a delightful evening learning how to make authentic Italian pizza from fresh ingredients.
The cooking class will set you up with a station including a work plan, an apron and rolling pin. You’ll start with a theoretical and then practical lesson on working the dough, from the ingredients to wait times to two different ways of kneading the dough. Then, choose which type of pizza you’d like to make – marinara (tomato, garlic, oregano), margherita (tomato, mozzarella, basil), diavola (tomato, mozzarella, spicy salami, chili) or Napoli (tomato, mozzarella, anchovies).
After the lesson, you’ll be accompanied to your table where you’ll enjoy a delicious bruschetta while your pizza is cooked in a wood oven. Savor a red or white wine, water or limoncello while you taste your creations.

Make use of 15 listening points and a map to locate points of interest inside the basilica. Learn the history of the building and how it later came to be used a church and a mausoleum.
The Pantheon, built between 25 and 27 B.C., is the only ancient Roman building that has remained nearly intact through the centuries. Dedicated to all the gods of Pagan Rome, the temple was built by the Emperor Hadrian on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus.
Classified as a temple, the original use of the Pantheon and how people worshipped there is unknown as the structure is different from other traditional Roman temples, such as the Roman Forumomani, come quelli nel Foro Romano.
